  • Installed (and not registered) on a WIn 8.1.3 Pro 64 bit system. A clean install.
A Russian company from Smolensk with address, phone&fax.
The registration page didn’t like my email address, so I did not receive a key. Even if I would get a key, i could not enter it…
The program crashes immediately after start:
What a pity, I would have liked to test it. No way. Not working, a real version, no better a version
    Uninstalled via reboot.

  • By me it chrashed too on my virtual XP and in SandboxIE on the W8.1 64 laptop. But under supervision of ToolWiz TimeFreeze it ran on this laptop. When restarting, the laptop hang and I had to kill it by pressing the on-button several seconds.

  • Your comments getting ridiculous.
I registered without problems on a Win 8.1 Pro System 64bit. No crash, everything working perfectly fine. Perhaps you need to learn how to use Windows, Karl, or scan your WIn 8.1.3 Pro 64 bit system for viruses.

  • Download and installed this software successfully on my windows & based system. After using it I just want to say that it's a cool photo editing software in less value…

  • Program FAILS. Running XP-PRO w/SP3. (AMD Processor)
Fail process #14001. “This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.”
Of course, reinstalling the application gives me the same result, program failure. Apparently, this program (Version 1.0 !!!) is obviously not ready for prime-time considering that the system requirements above list just about every operating system except Windows 95 & 98!
Please fix the program, it sounds great!

  • Installed but unable to run in XP, same as Susan #4, but successfully registered and opened in Win Seven.
A modern mud coloured interface but thankfully easily readable, similar to their retouch program with the addition of some simple editing functions, this includes an automatic correction function and the ability to sharpen the image.
A quick test on the removal aspect worked well in a simple situation; an easy-to-use limited functionality program, a handy little program to have around but most definitely will not replace my main editor.

  • Windows 9600. I had much the same result as Karl – Setup completed, but the actual program crashed immediately, so I didn’t even get to try for the registration key.

  • Well, the Photo Editor program installs and registers fine. But after I installed it, three other SoftOrbits programs (Photo Retoucher, Photo Stamp Remover, and Photo to Sketch Converter) that I had previously obtained and registered via Giveawayoftheday have now stopped operating as licensed programs.
Apparently, this company does some kind of an online check of the registration codes upon starting any of its programs, and the other three programs all report that “the license key has already been activated.” Not sure why it would say that, as all three Softorbits programs had registered cleanly and I have not tampered with them in any way.
I like the software that this company makes. But I don’t like it that they have taken away three licensed programs from me. A licensed program should stay licensed and not phone home to negate the free license code. That is very disingenuous.

  • To remove unwanted objects I generally like to use ‘Inpaint‘ from TeoreX. But to make the output more perfect I also take the assistance of ‘Clone Stamp’ tool.
    1) Remove objects from photo – Tutorial using clone stamp tool of RealWorld Designer.
    2) Irfanview Clone Stamp Tutorial.
    3) Also we can use the freeware GIMP . See How to Remove an object on a photo with GIMP
    4) Another method using Paint.NET , just follow the instructions given in Paint.NET Clone Stamp Tutorial .
At the same time I would like to name some free and powerful image editing softwares –
    *Hornil StylePix
    * Chasys Draw IES
*Image Composite Editor (ICE) by Microsoft Research
*PhotoDemon – A really cool editor.
    *PhotoFiltre Studio
    *FastStone Image Viewer
    ToolWiz Pretty Photo

  • Registered without problems and everything working fine.
It reminds me a little of programs like Inpaint and Photupz, perhaps a tick faster removing stuff from a photo.
The interface is clean and dark consistent with the trend going dark-gray. Pretty much nothing great to learn about using SoftOrbits, because it’s easy to use for everyone.
I now have InPaint, PhotoUpz and SoftOrbits to choose from with past Giveaways, but think they are all equally good.
    cheers GOTD & SoftOrbits

  • The second release of the installer worked. It installed and started correctly.
A greyish interface opens, this is a combination of several tools, from red-eye removing over the remove of “unwanted” objects and a clone stamp, which I tested.
The clone stamp did not work as expected, the stamp color (see arrow) could not be changed, the size not selected and the release of the key gave unpredictable results. Maybe the developer looks again in the code, before giving this as a unfinished version
Uninstalled. Could become a nice little tool some versions later.
